Housefever imports XML event info

The dutch party website housefever.nl which has been made by us in 2007, is adding new events on a daily base which is manually done by volunteers, a time consuming job since each event need one or two pictures for the flyer.

Since this week this website is automatically adding new events including Flyer pictures by importing event info from another party agenda website.
This is done by reading its XML-feed into the housefever agenda database. After importing, most of the event info can be changed by the content manager , for example to emphasize it when an event is sponsored.
the system also picks up when events are deleted (canceled)
